Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 Headphones, the Sweat Resistant Sports headset You Have Been Looking For!
The Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 are the on-ears design, sports handsets created for the hyperactive kind of people, the runners, the gym workout and everyone else who tend to have headphones while working out or moving briskly. These headphones have earned their name for the one feature that the model is completely sweat resistant and rain proof so it is the kind of sporty gadget that gym goers would prefer. However, it is certainly not the absolute bet you would want.
Philips is a well-known label but it sure hasn’t put it all in the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200, the sporty, sweat resistant handset, but it sure does a good job at keeping melted on your ears during a run. These make a good option for people who don’t like to have earbuds plugged into their ears or have difficulty handling the buds while moving fast.
Every device is got to have some pros and cons, the plus points and minus ones. The Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 model is no exception. Here we have briefly reviewed the product for its most salient features.
Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 Features:
The first thing you would want un a sporty handset is a good fit because you like to stream your favorite music while you work out or enjoy your favorite singles sport. Unless you have a very small head, the dwarf sized, the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 fit everyone quite well.
The headband is tight enough to keep it on even with fast head movement like shakes, tilts or whatever, and with the help of silicone headband you can keep them on even if you’re bald, now that’s cool. It might require an occasional adjustment, you know just a little fixing here and there, but otherwise the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 goes nowhere off your head.
Here is a Lost of Sports Headphones:
Wait, are you looking for a handset which is equipped with noise cancellation feature to clear off all the background clutter? You are in for a very big disappointment. The Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 do nothing of that sort, noise cancellation is pretty much a zero with this model. It leaks a lot of noise here and there.
It is a very good choice if you are the one who likes to keep connected to his surroundings while at the gym or the sports complex and simultaneously enjoy his music too. However, if you are the isolationist kind of music lover who wants his alone time while sweating to keep fit, the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 is not for you.
Philips SHQ5200 Comfort:
The Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 is quite light weight and comfortable. You can keep these on for hours without realizing. The fabric used for padding the ear buds is quite soft as well. It is not a very top-quality product but does well for a comfortable experience. Since it’s for the sporty people, comfort is certainly a feature it offers.
The one selling point that is a must have for any sporty headphones is that is must be sweat resistant and the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 is exactly that. Do whatever you want, take it wherever you want, it is very durable and can take any weather conditions and any kind of exertion. No matter how much you swat, the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 can take it. It is rain proof as well so outdoor conditions make no case for worrying either.
The quality of the headset might not be very appealing but the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 is a sports headphone and it is fit for your exercises and sports as it should be. The headphones don’t look to be very durable a t a first glance but they prove to work well over the long run. The plastic used for the built is not very high quality but it can take the exhaustion you inflict upon it.
ActionFit SHQ5200 Compatibility:
Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 only support music streaming, there are no options for calling etc. The cables aren’t detachable (but you do get an extension) so you can’t combine it with in-line mic cable either. But we find it quite normal for a sporty handset you see.
The sound is pretty decent. Until you don’t turn up the volume too high you will enjoy a bass-heavy, but increasing the volume does prove effective in improving the overall sound quality.
In short, the Philips ActionFit SHQ5200 is a sporty model of on-ears design headphones which is sweat resistant and practically a durable product. There is no noise cancellation facility but the overall sound quality is quite agreeable and it certainly comes with a good fit a comfort that any sports headphones models should have.
