            What We Disliked

            • A bit expensive

Photive BTH3 is a worthy choice for the money you have to pay for it. They don’t offer the absolute best sound quality but it is certainly really very impressive, you are in for a surprise if you are basing your expectations on the price tag. The model is very comfortable and a good choice for people who like to keep their headphones on for long hours. The Photive BTH3 are headphones value for money for sure.

            Photive BTH3 Features:

The controls are easy to manage. You can play and pause, hit the next tune on the playlist or move backwards, skip and rewind with the keys on the headphones, it’s a single tap operation from the left earcup. On the right earcup, you get the volume control and power button. The buttons are easy to use and seem strong enough to last.

The Photive BTH3 is a complete handset which means that it has a built-in microphone for hands-free calling. The quality is pretty good, you can for causal chit-hats or even use them for professional communication with these headphones.

The wired mode always comes handy when the battery runs out. You can use any 3.5mm audio cable. There is one included in the Photive BTH3 package but any other cable would do just fine as well. Photive BTH3 use the quite new 4.0 Bluetooth.

The battery life is pretty decent for the Photive BTH3 as compared to its many counterparts. It goes nowhere for twelve hours and the charging lasts for less than three hours on average as well. Using wired mode increases the battery life of the Photive BTH3 handset so it is keeping the cable on is a good idea as well.

            Noise Cancellation:

There we have it! A budget model has to have something not very liked about it. The headphones are no exception either. There is some sound leakage. You can’t listen to them at max volume in a quiet room, but listening on normal volume won’t be a big problem. They aren’t as bad as one would think of them, they are quite bearable, you can do with keeping the volumes in control you know.

            Photive BTH3 Comfort:

On a very serious note, the Photive BTH3 headphones are comfortable. There I no doubt about it. The price is low and the build quality is certainly not premium but one thing that these headphones have better than many other products in this price range is the level of comfort they have to offer. The earcups aren’t the biggest you would find in the market but big enough to fit adult ears.

The earpads in the Photive BTH3 handset are covered by pleather which gives finest performance. You do get a bit warmer ears after a while, but that is quite okay if you wear hem for long hours you know. The Photive BTH3 are very lightweight with puts less pressure on your head and ears so you don’t get uncomfortable with having a bulk hanging down the head.

            Photive BTH3 Durability:

The build quality of the Photive BTH3 is less than top quality but it is as you would expect from a budget model. However, it won’t break easily, it holds out long enough to worth its money.

            Compatibility

As we know, the Photive BTH3 is a Bluetooth enabled model. The connection is quite stable and pretty hassle free as well, connects easily and there is no breakage either. The connection range is the average 33ft (10m) which varies depending on the environment. In open areas, you might get better range, in closed places shorter.

            Photive BTH3 – Sound:

That’s not the Bose headphones you are purchasing so don’t expect the best quality in the world but the BTH3 do have excellent grade for their budget. You are in for a worthy music journey with the Photive BTH3 on. The sound signature is quite balanced so you don’t miss out on any chords.

On overall basis, the Photive BTH3 are to give you more than what you expect from this kind of money. The sound quality is excellent, the comfort level is up there, the battery life and connectivity are better than average for the budget models; there is some ignorable sound leakage and a not so premium built but the BTH3 headphones are a good choice.
